Family Affairs

Darkness was where he worked. Darkness was where he prevailed. But it is not the type of darkness you can see. It is the aura that surrounds him, the instant feeling of dread when he draws near. This is what describes Zen's best attribute. More then a man, but less than a god, he feared no man. He felt that his skill was unmatched due to fate. Zen sat in his office, behind a desk that had not been filled with paperwork since he become hokage. He had others to do the work. He was too busy ruling with an iron fist. The worst of the problems got to him, but his people knew not to come to him with petty information, for like them, it would not be worth his time. In front of him were two chairs. They stood alone in the empty space that was his office, and only the light from the window illuminated them. He leaned back and pondered on his most prized possession at the moment. The things that made him so great. His eyes.

His eyes were a big part of why he was who he was. And it was because of them he was almost never caugh off guard. But today was different. Today Zen sat in his office with a look that not too many ever saw on his face. It was one of abosolute confusion. The past few days had been filled with drama and planning, and to be honest, he was no closer than he had been when he started. He kicked his feet up on his desk, his gaze focused out of the window.

"Where the hell is good help when you need it?" he asked himself.

As Kira would walk down the hallway towards his brothers office, He would allow his Byakugan to pour run wildly as his foot steps echoed with each movement. Within seconds he was at the door, as he slowly pushed the door open he would allow a small evil grin to run across his face as he would Shadow Step into the room instantly appearing next to Zen as he would give near to impossible breathing room as he snatched from his seat and slammed his back against the wall. With out warning he would toss Zen over the his desk as he would than kick it out of the way. "Your time has come brother." Kira would slowly move closer to Zen as he looked deep into his eyes and he waited for him to make a move. He would slowly place his hands on both his twin spoken blades as he was ready to draw them if need be.

Zen's eyes widened as he was taken by surprise by a familiar chakra signature. As he was slammed into the wall, he got a good look at the face of his attacker. It was the one person that he never thought would betray him, he stared into the eyes of hi brother. Still in shock, he was thrown over his desk. He connected with the ground, rolling off of his shoulders into a standing position. "What is the meaning of this brother?!" he asked Kira as he got into his Jyuken stance. He didn't know if this was a joke, or his brother had gone insane, but he was not going to allow him to continue.

Activating his Byakugan, Zen shot toward his younger brother with the speed and grace that only someone who trained as much as him could have. Within seconds he would be directly within Kira's reach, and he would strike with his right palm towards the man's chest before striking his left in the direction of his temple. This would take two seconds to do before Zen drops down and attempts to sweep him.

Kira would allow a devilish smile to run across his face as he would stare at his brother who wore a weather confused look upon his face. Kira would slowly stop the flow of his chakra to a crawl as he looked into his brothers eyes. Every part his facial expression baited Zen to try to stop him from kicking his ass. Still with his chakra flow barely moving it would slightly mask the fact that he was still under the influence of the burst of chakra he had lingering in his muscles, from when he used his Shadow step. Every bite of focus placed on the young man he would smile lightly and give a slight wink that said nothing less than, " Come let see what you got." As Kira watched the flow of Zens chakra pour into his legs, Kira would quick jerk right just as Zen would seem to teleport across the room. While Zen's right hand was going forward in a striking motion Kira would quickly snatch his wrist and sling him back into the wall as he would draw his blade and began to strike the back of Zen with the back edge of the sword, in an attempt to break Zen in this very moment.

No one embarased Zen Hyuuga. No matter the skill, no matter what bloodline ran through their veins, there was none who could treat the speed demon of konoha like this! As Kira dodged his attack, he grabbed his wrist and attempted to throw him into the wall once more. But Zen was well prepared this time. Leveling some chackra to the soles of his feet, he stopped in his tracks before ducking under the swing of his brothers blade. Using the momentum from both their attacks, he would then shift his position in order to slam Kira into the wall himself. Once on the wall Zen would hoot a high chackra concentrated gentle fist at the man's opposite shoulder blade, hopefully dislocating it for the remainder of the fight.

As Kira's back was slammed against the wall, he would quickly expel a burst of chakra filled lightning from his body, that he had stored when he slowed his chakra and to mask his movements. The Lightning pulse had enough chakra in it to stun an elephant, with direct contact it was even enough to temporarily shut down an heart of a large man. Even if Kenji was the fastest Ninja in the Leaf, Kira was by every means the smartest as he would woruld draw his blade to Zen's neck and as several ninja who heard the rack rushed into the room, Kira would in a quick like motion spin and slam the blade into Zen stomach and twist, as if it was a kill shot.

Description: Lightning Pulse is a ninjutsu technique that utilize a wave of lightning that is discharge from the users body. The Waves causes the victim's body to stale into a stand steal for a short amount of time. This is due to the electrical currency that is running through the victim's body. The charge does a internal damage to most organs causing them to shut down for a slight moment. The Charge leaves a slight burn/bruise mark where it make's contact to the body.Electrical charges run over the body. As he uses a dog hand sign to expel the change into a burst that extends 5 meters per rank. At C rank the charge can reach out to a total of 5 meters. The range grows as more chakra is added.

Zen had to admit it, his brother was a smart guy, but no one was without flaws. And there was a big flaw in his plan this time. His gentle fist needed concentration to be maintained, and the lightning discharge did not help with this. The second Kira released, the unexpected current disrupted Zen's already chakra filled strike. The ending result was a small explosion, sending the hokage flying back. Since his palm was the closest thing to Kira, his arm caught most of the damage. Zen slid across the floor to the opposite side of the office before glaring at his brother. There was an intense pain in his arm, but pain was better than the numbness he felt everywhere else. The feeling of complete hopelessness was upon him.

As the small crowd stood in horror as their kage was on the verge of death, Kira would make a few hand sign before be releasing a great fire jutsu known as the Fire Cone of Death. The flames would quickly surround the body of the kage's and than engulf him in a huge flame. Kira would call to the crowd to say, "tell Everyone that the Kage has fallen and we are entering into a new Era switch would be ran by me...." As Kira spoke those cold words a tear would roll down from his eyes as he would demand that they do as he said. The flames would slowly die down as a body was left bearing the cloths of a kage or what was left of them. The body would was burnt beyond recognition, but at part of the neck that held a kage tattoo was remaining. The Ninja's would do as he said and rush to tell everyone. Kira would order that two of the men stopped and took the body down to the graveyard so that it could be buried property. As the men Left Kira would slam the door behind them and seat at the desk.
